Since 1973, Mizuho began collaborating with Dr. Kenichiro Sugita to develop aneurysm clips. In 1977, the Elgiloy Clips were introduced and lead to development of the Sugita TII Aneurysm Clips in 2007. Mizuho’s clips are manufactured at the Gosen Factory in Niigata, Japan. Fashioned by hand using Japanese craftsmanship, Mizuho offers Sugita TII Aneruysm Clips, AVM Micro Clips, and Anastomosis Clips to facilitate treatment of complex aneurysms.
